A Typical Birthday Celebration in Indian Colleges

Hi everyone... my birthday just got over. It was one of my best birthdays ever !
I was just thinking how I used to celebrate my birthdays from very small age.. Now its totally different. I have never heard of birthday bumps etc.. The way we celebrate birthday in college is totally different. I am not quite sure whether its the same everywhere... And I am totally unaware of the culture and celebration methods in UK or US.. anyways I thought I will share my birthday experiences so that you can get an idea about a typical birthday celebration in indian colleges...

These are the standard steps followed in a typical birthday celebration.

Step 1: Preparing some suspense:

As usual dear ones try to surprise the birthday baby with something special. This time it was really surprising and more than what I imagined.. My friends were staying in my house balcony without my knowledge and were preparing birthday cake with candles lighted...

Step 2: Cake cutting and group photo:

Step 3: Applying cake / spray foam on face:

Step 4: Decorating the birthday baby's face:

Step 5: Birthday Bumps !!!!

Step 6: The Holy bath

This was something which I felt very crazy when I heard about it first... god only knows why they do it ! :-)

Basically a solution is prepared out of all crazy unwanted and smelly stuffs and poured on the birthday baby... This step purely depends upon the creativity of your friends... My friends were too creative and guess what they came up with ?

Base:
1. Water (pH 7.0)
2. Aavin Lassi - 1 packet (150ml)

Ingredients added:
1. 125ml Thumbs up
2. Bru instant coffee powder - 2 packets
3. Bajaj Almond drops hair oil - 50ml
4. Ponds Talcum Powder - 1/2 Bottle
5. Head and Shoulders Shampoo - 2 Packets
6. Surf Excel - 1 Packet
7. Vivel Shampoo - 1/2 Bottle
8. Clean and clear face wash - Full bottle (Expiry date over)
9. Fresh Green Leaves
10. Paper Pieces from dustbin :-(

After the holy bath phase 1Ponds powder and closeup tooth paste puffing added...Since the solution quantity was very less, they weren't satisfied..
They lifted me and used me to wipe the floor :-(Head closeup shot after adding ponds powder and closeup tooth paste... Cleaning phase 1 at roof top tap..Group photo after all the damages have been made..
But still the birthday baby is active and smiling :-)
